Zero Liquid Discharge

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) is an advanced wastewater treatment approach designed to ensure that all treated water is purified and made available for reuse in industrial processes. This is achieved by effectively removing impurities and dissolved solids, while contaminants are concentrated and converted into solid waste.

When Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane filtration is used, only a small volume of reject water requires further treatment through evaporation.
